This past week, I have been busy preparing the garden(s) for winter. One more week should do it, then hibernation begins. That means more time for quilting!
My baby Dresden's are coming along nicely. Just two more to applique to the background fabric. I have an idea for a special appliqued block to go with the Dresden's. I hope to start on that this week.
I made a very easy Dear Jane block last week. Click here to have a look. Sunday afternoon was spent preparing for the Polka-Dot Girls. All my stitchery blocks are now cut out and I traced My Friends, Forget-Me-Not and the Teapot & Rose Border, for Block One. Now, I am itching to start stitching!
Look what arrived in the mail...... An Angels Story! I also ordered Tea Party for Madeline. So many wonderful Angels flying around in blogland. I can't wait to make my own.
Until next week.....happy quilting!Karen

Good luck on your ANGELS... :o)
You do have a lot of fun in front of you...designing all the different angels...
So curious about your mini dresden...sure looks wonderful!!
Your baby dresdens look beautiful! I can't wait to see them complete. And you know I love your polka dot girls. I can't wait to see more.
everything looks so nice. I only wish I had more time.
Karen, your Dear Jane is coming along nicely. Great fabrics. You have some lovely projects in progress. Am wondering, are those buckeyes in the first picture? There was a buckeye tree near where I lived as a child. Don't remember the shell, though.
Have a great weel!
The "Angel story" quilt is also on my to-do list. I like this book very much! And the Dresden-plates also too! You have wonderful blogs!
I have the angels to do to, one of these days! I thought they were so pretty on the blogs I visited that I had to have them for myself! :0)
Karen, Thank you for leaving a comment on my blog. I am new to blogging and it is so much fun. I viewed and read your blog....wow...what a great job. You are amazing. How do you link to a photo by clicking a word? I also collect teapots!!
Just found your blog via Kalama Quilter I'm pleased to meet you, I'll be back.
I have the Angels Story book also. Hope to begin sometime soon. I have never done stitchery before. Can't wait to see yours.
Where did you order your Angels? I have been trying to get my hands on some of the patterns and keep hitting dead end roads... Inquiring quilters want to know. Thanks, Carline
