When witches go riding,
and black cats are seen,
the moon laughs and whispers,
‘tis near Halloween.

I made the Ghost Spinners and Pumpkin Dinners quilt last year. Done all in pinwheels, it was a fun weekend project.
Is it just me, or do the sunflowers look a little creepy?
How appropriate for this spooky time of year.
Last week I made my first Quilted Diamond block. Click here to have a look. Also, this past Friday, I discovered (and joined) the Polka-Dot Girls Stitchery Group. I was planning on starting this pattern next year, but seeing I already have the pattern and DMC floss and think I know what fabric I will be using for the stitchery background, maybe I could start it a little earlier.
Until next week.....happy quilting!

Hi Karen! I love your halloween quilt! I'm a Polka Dot Girls stitcher too and I just traced my first block. I've never tackled anything like this before so I'm a bit overwhelmed by the whole thing right now! I'm happy to have others working along with me! :0)
The quilt is beautiful. I love the colors.
Love your Halloween quilt. Im a big fan of Halloween quilts and stitcheries. I made my first quilt and door hanging late last year and then throughout this year so I have them proudly hanging up now. Just wish we celebrated halloween like you do over there!!
Cheers Cherry
What a great Halloween quilt :-)
What a happy Halloween quilt! Love the sunflower pictures, also. Wondering where you get the patterns for the Polka Dot Girls - so cute. I gather the designers may be from Australia from reading different blogs. Happy Halloween!! Carol
Happy Halloween Auntie Karen, love Ralphie!
