Felted bowls!
As you can see I love bowls, so when I came across a pattern for felted crochet bowls, well, I just had to make some. Afraid of ruining them I waited weeks before felting, but it turned out to be super easy and now I can't wait to make another one. This time I am going to design my own pattern and maybe even go a little wild with colour.
Until next time.....

Hi Karen, oh I love all these bowls, I have never seen anything like the one with the notch for yarn...
ReplyDeleteYour felted bowls look fantastic, you are so clever, I hope you have fun with your adventurous colours next time! x
Wat ontzettend leuk al deze verschillende bowls. Jouw Bride Block is ook weer prachtig aan het worden
ReplyDeleteLove them! I've made felted purses but never a bowl...great job!
ReplyDeleteI also love bowls. You can't have to many.
ReplyDeleteWhere did you find the pattern for the felted bowls?
What an unusual and interesting post. That yarn bowl is certainly interesting. At first, I though it was just a cracked bowl. Your felted bowls are nice too. What a creative idea.
ReplyDeleteThis certainly looks fun to do. They look pretty to me. Are they still soft?

Love your collection of bowls - especially the yarn bowl. I must look out for one! The felted bowls look great too.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE all your bowls. I really want a yarn bowl. I'm happy to hear that felting is easy. I have a knitted purse pattern that I want to make as a knitting project bag but was chickening out over the felting. Did you felt by hand or by machine?

Very interesting and nice to see all your bowls, and the felted ones are stunning, I like them, my guess is that they are not very soft, but I can see that they are very well formed. Did you felt by machine.
ReplyDeleteFun post today, Karen. Your felted bowl is awesome. So many wonderful things to make and do - no way to ever be bored. Did you ever watch any of Upstairs, Downstairs on Netflix? I did the whole thing (68 episodes) and it was absolutely wonderful! Going to find another English series to watch - love them. Carol
ReplyDeleteI love the one you labeled yarn bowl, especially. You have a great collection.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful bowls, love that yarn bowl :-)
ReplyDeleteYour block from previous post is amazing !!
HI! Karen, I really love the bowls .Especially the pottery bowls as I have a few in my home and some large vases for decoration. I love the blues. You can Google "Bendigo Pottery Australia" It is Australia's oldest working pottery house . I get most of my pottery there.
ReplyDeleteThose are really cool!! Nice photos of all sorts of bowls. Felting is fun to play with.
ReplyDeleteI always love everything you show on your blog...hexagons, klosjes, Civil War Bride, and crocheted bowls. You always have a nice variety of projects going!
