Friendship Star Quilt

Friendship Star is my first doll quilt from Kathleen Tracy's book, Prairie Children and Their Quilts.  Measuring 20.5 inches by 25 inches and pieced by hand.  Kathleen went with a contrasting colour for the binding, but I was thinking of using the same fabric as the border.  All fabrics are reproduction and I plan on hand quilting.

Until next time.....happy quilting!

Karen

Very nice Karen, I love the little quilts from Kathy so much, because of the coloers, and the simple patterns, simple, but thinking about so good.

Greetings, Jeannet

Karen I love Kathleen`s books just got a couple myself following her on the yahoo group plus her bloc.
Your quilt is adorable I agree that the binding would like great with the same boarder fabric. Watchout though making mini quilts is addictive

I have three of Kathleen's books laying on the kitchen table. I have looked through them several times but not settled on what little quilt to make. Yours would be a good one to start with.

Hi Karen,
I had fallen behind reading your (but not only your) blog. I love your Fasset klosjes, they are so bright and friendly! I also love the colours of your flowerquilt. And your dollquilt, well what can I say? It is just adorable. I still can't understand how you manage all this *and* your gardening - amazing.
Cheers,
Tineke
