Because she enjoys Marjolein Bastin as much as I do, a gift from Simone.
My new address book has been filled in and I am already posting notes.
Thank you Simone!
11 made over a week ago!!
Time to dig into my stash, for the next round of klosjes, as this is the last of Miss Jump's Scrapbag charm pack. And, things are moving along nicely with Ring in the New! My July block is completed and August is ready to be stitched.
We never know the worth of water till the well is dry.

Please send a little rain my way said the garden to the gardener and the birds to the sky above. What I would do for a little rain! Such a hot, humid, dry summer and we still have a ways to go. Time spent in the garden, or outside for that matter, has been kept to a minimum.
Why is it the weeds don't seem to care if it is hot and dry, they just keep growing. The cost of water keeps rising and where I once watered the garden every other day, during dry spells, I now only water once a week. Sometimes this seems for not as it is rain water that makes a garden (and gardener) happy.
Until next time.....happy quilting!
Karen

What a nice gift from Simone! I like Marjolein, too and send an agenda to my penfriend in England each year. Beautiful klosjes you made and the stitchery is lovely! Hope you all get rain, here in the Netherlands it has been very dry, too, but fortunately we had some rain over the last few days.
Greetings, Cisca
11 klosjes and a lovely stitcherie....well done!
Maybe you can try a raindance...I have the suitable music on my blog for you :-)
Your klosjes are lovely and I admire your stitchery (I would like to try one sometime) Simone sent you a lovely present. She is a nice lady.

Oh lovely klosjes and what a nice gift from Simone.
I sympathize with you when there is a lack of rain for our gardens. It's not bad for me since I just have the little container garden, but I can remember summers when I have had many, many flowers and how welcome rain was to relieve the watering chore. Nothing is as good as rain! Hope you get some soon. PS Your klosjes are growing by leaps and bounds and looking good! Carol
Your Klosjes look great and I can't wait to see the finished project. If I could send you a little rain I would. It's rained here every day since Thursday and yesterday I think we had 3" in the afternoon. More is falling today and the temperature is high along with the humidity. Be careful what you wish for.
What a lovely gift!!
We are having such a lovely summer this year, I really feel for those that are suffering in the heat. I'd send some gentle rain to you if I could!!

Such beautiful and useful gifts, very nice! I'll always love note cards. They're timeless! Your stitchery is wonderful.
Well done on the Klosjes! I know where you are coming from with the water. We have severe water restrictions here each summer now and I really miss the smell of the spinkler on the lawn on a hot day. Now we only water our plants and our lawn is brown in the summer. I too find it amazing that the weeds still grow when they don't get watered!
Your klosjes are sew cute Karen. Are you doing them by hand? I need to get started on mine instead of making bags!
I enjoyed seeing all the progress you've made on so many projects. Cute, cute, cute.
Glad you enjoy the gift I sent you (o:
And those klosjes are still looking at me and saying "Make some, make some!!!"
Just depends on where you are in the world. Here in Panama we are in the midst of the rainy season and it rains almost every day - sometimes all day and through the night. Wish I could send some your way.
