Attention One Flower Wednesday Members

One Flower Wednesday came about so unexpectedly. Never would I have imagined that saying I was going to make one flower a week, to get me back on track with my flower garden, would turn into such a Garden Party. If I was to start over again, maybe a group blog or Flickr group would have been the way to go. But, I believe we are too far into it now to make that change, as it would not be fair to those that are content with the way it is.

The Garden Party has grown to 76 members and finding the time to visit everyone is probably impossible for most people to do.   Ideally, we post on a Wednesday to make it easier for others to follow, but we don't know for sure what Wednesday members will be posting, making it hard to know which blogs to visit. To make it easier and to know exactly who has post each week, I thought a Sign In sheet would be a good idea.

After you post your One Flower Wednesday entry on your blog, you then sign in on the Sign In sheet.  From the Sign In sheet you can visit other members that have posted that week.  This reducing your time spent going in and out of blogs looking for One Flower Wednesday postings.  A new Sign In sheet will be posted each week and the previous one will become inactive.  Shall we give it a try?

  13. This idea was great because I was finding it hard to visit them all. Any way to streamline is great by me. Thank you for organizing this group and anything you do is appreciated.

  14. This is a great idea!
Maybe it is also an idea to visit each visitor's blog and leaving a comment instead of mailing a 'thank you' ? Just a thought. I have been spending so much time at my laptop this week that I had to send my DH to the take away to get fed ;-))

  17. A perfect idea Karen!
I didn't want to miss anything, so it took me a long time to visit all the blogs. That meant less time for quilting ;-)
So this is a perfect idea. I hope I did enter the right way.
Thanks for make it a little bit easy for all us quilters.
