The corn is turning brown
The trees in apple orchards
With fruit are bending down."

  4. Pretty post! This is my very favorite time of year - I have loved the autumn since I was a little girl. Even love the rainy fall days when there are leaves all over the ground.

  7. Oh that is so pretty. The pattern is one I have never seen before . It looks so hard and complicated. I just went to the little quilt store today. Went to get some scraps from the leftover basket that they sell for 17 cents an inch. Then a couple of 1/2 yard pieces. Then off to Hancock fabrics to see what they had on sale. 40% on the cottons so I got 5 1 yard pieces.

This little quilt shop carries Moda. I love it. At this point I will take anything. I sure wish I could afford to get my material and quilt stuff from storage in Fla. Maybe after the tax refund comes. I have so much material in storage. Now I am working with the scraps from two sweet ladies and what little I can pick up. Lordy for a stash to work with. Even more scraps would do me just fine.

So will go. Pulled out some string squares that are 6 1/2 and 4 inch that I did several months ago. They are in black on white, white on black and black on red. Going to play with them and maybe cut them up and take a chance.
There are plenty to make a quilt. Will post a picture in a day or two.

Thanks for the email and for looking. Later Hugs
