Here are two more blocks from my Times Remembered quilt.
Baltimore Urn and Butterfly Bush
I think Baltimore Urn is my favourite block. But, if you ask me tomorrow, I may change my mind. I love them all! The sweet little kitty, taking a nap, in the Butterfly Bush block, is made from wool.
Look what Jack Frost painted on my window. Isn't it beautiful?
Finally back working on the Polka-Dot Girls. Teapot and Roses Border is the third (and final) stitchery from Block One. Sadly, I will have to restitch Forget-Me-Not and My Friends, because of the pellon issue. But, have decided to redo them when all the other stitchery has been completed.
I came across a new blog, called Applique on the Go. Margaret also prepares her applique background by thread basting. Her method is a little different then mine and better suited for more detailed applique. Another blog, I will be keeping an eye on is Quiltsalott. Janet's needle-turn applique and hand quilting is just beautiful. Also, Bee In My Bonnet . Such a cute name! You may recognize Lori's wonderful applique patterns. And a sure way to put a smile on your face is to visit 10 year old Abby, at Abby's Adventures.
Until next week.....happy quilting!
Karen

Karen your blocks are beautiful. The baltimire Urn was my favorite when I made it too.
What great blocks, Karen! Everything you do is beautiful. Love the picture of the frosted window. I intend to check out the blogs you mentioned.

I love them all!! That kitty looks so cozy.
I just made my Polka Dot Girls from block 1 too. I can't imagine having to do one over, they are so much work to draw. I wish they came pre-printed. LOL
Isn't Mr. Frost just the nicest fellow? To bring you some art - all for free. I used to love looking at the windows when I was a little girl. I don't get uch frost on these windows now.
Lovely blocks. I can see why you like working on them.
I love your "Times Remembered" blocks. I'm not familiar with that pattern but I'd sure like to be. Is it an older one?
Thanks for the links. I had fun visiting.
Thanks also for the comments you left on my blog regarding the TAT BOM in wool. I thoroughly enjoyed doing it.
Your applique is as beautiful as what Jack Frost created on your window. I love the extension of the applique outside the "window", into the sashing.
Oh, your applique is just lovely. Jack Frost left his own applique. Thanks for the links.
Karen thanks for sharing all those beautiful applique blocks. Your stitchery is also lovely. Must get back to mine.
