I too started with hand piecing and minature's. Found since I have gotten older the eye's aren't the same. Now I do a lot of machine sewing. Did 9 or 10 lap quilts for the Sunshine group on Yahoo and have another 10 oer 12 tops done and needing to be quilted. It is my first attempt at doing that. I was a nurse and when I had to go on disability I did 17 full size quilt tops in 6 months with just scrap stuff. Still have a few of those to finish. All for give away. I now have about 6 or 7 full size tops to finish with the batting and quilting. I don't know how to machine quilt so I tie them instead. I have for for self that I have probably washed over 200 times and it is still in the same shape as it was when I made it.

Two ladies from the Sunshine group sent me a lot of scraps cause all my stuff is in storage in Florida. That is what I used to do the quilts and tops for Sunshine. I will be ecstatic when I can afford to go to Florida and get my stuff out of storage. So pass the word for me that I am still looking for scraps and will gladly pay the postage. I don't care how small the pieces are cause I do crumb block and strings for the quilts.

Thank you again for looking and commenting.LindaSuehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08036032268931531402noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1566941118175210463.post-28335299208976085962009-09-11T09:07:30.851-04:002009-09-11T09:07:30.851-04:00Gosh, I love that background fabric (must I have t...Gosh, I love that background fabric (must I have that? hmmm) and all the fun interesting things you have afoot!
