Sweet Nostalgia July Block
Fun at the Beach
Sweet Nostalgia August Block
Hide and Seek
Hocuspocusville (my 4th block)
Hermoine's Split Ends
Now that all my Sweet Nostalgia blocks are complete, I read the finishing instructions for the quilt. Though a beautiful finish, it could send one running. For now, I will cut my blocks down to size, maybe add the first round of fabric strips and think about a simpler plan to finish it off.
Until next time.....happy quilting!

ReplyDeletewell done on finishing your stitcheries!! I love Dorothy's layout but it was way beyond my talents so I went with a much simpler layout.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing your progress.
Good for you sticking to doing the Sweet Nostalgia blocks. I only did one and though I love the designs, I just can't find time to do more.
ReplyDeleteWhat gorgeous stitchery blocks for your quilt....
ReplyDeleteWhat neat stitching! Your idea of a simpler finish sounds good. Enjoy yourself.
ReplyDeleteYour blocks are lovely, it will be good to see how you finish them.
ReplyDeleteSuch cute stitcheries! How many are there? Your quilt will be adorable.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Karen, well done. The blocks are so beautiful. I do look forward seeing how you will finish your top. The original sashing was not so hard to do. I had a look at Marina's S.N, and I like how she did the sashing.
ReplyDeleteAnd your Hocuspocusville looks really good.
Beautiful Karen...just waiting how they turn out , happy inspiration !
