Civil War Bride Block 2

Today was a cold, windy and somewhat rainy Sunday, so spending time in the garden was now freed up for other things.  It was a good day for PPP, press, picture and post.

And, this would be the April Sweet Nostalgia block, Happy Easter.

Until next time.....happy quilting!

What a lovely CWB block - Beautiful colors, I love how you do the leaves with all different fabrics, so full of life. Have you decided which one will be next?
And Sweet Nostalgia is always a joy to look at, beautiful.

Both blocks are great. The embroidery has a very old fashioned look to it. Love the colors on the CWB block.

Wow, the CWB block is fantastic! I love the lilac color with the green. There's something quite special about appliqued flowers.

I'm working on Block No 2 also. I'm on the waiting list for the CWB blog but I love looking at everyone's finished blocks! It's an amazing quilt, isn't it! Your block is beautiful! I love the colors you chose!

Beautiful colors and your points are spot on! I need to check out this quilt. I have the Civil War quilt book but I'm not familiar with Civil War Bride. Thanks for sharing.
