Block Book

Now finished and such a pleasure to stitch, my Block Book cover will soon be turned into the perfect place to store my ready to stitch Dear Jane blocks.  To see what the finished book and inside looks like, pop on over to Ellen's.  Or to purchase the pattern click here.

The stitchery is just so pretty; I may have to use it again on something else.  Like Ellen, I prefer to hand piece and I like how the Block Book stitches up fast, the perfect project for one that likes to hand piece.

Many more great patterns can be purchased at Ellie's Quiltplace.  You may remember Ellen's free Country Calendar BOM that adorns my family room wall.  The pattern is still available, along with her latest, Cat Quilt BOS.  A must do pattern for me, as we are a cat loving family.

Until next time.....happy quilting!

Karen

This is a gorgeous block keeper, Karen. I like the pages inside to store the blocks (yes, I went to the link). I think I could be so much more organised if I made one of these too!!

What a beautiful stitching book! I made a couple using applique blocks that weren't going to make it into a quilt. They are so handy to have!

Gorgeous stitching Karen. Is it back stitch or did you use punch needle?
Your block book is absolutely beautiful and will be very useful for you, as you are hand piecing your DJ.
Happy stitching
