Introducing Baby Ralphie

Baby Ralphie celebrated his first birthday in October. He loves his Auntie Karen and Auntie Karen loves him. Because Ralphie was the inspiration behind my baby Dresden quilt, an appliqued portrait was a must.

I selected fabric to match his personality and named the quilt Baby Ralphie. The Dresden's, Baby Ralphie and the four little flowers, were all hand appliqued.

Sorry about the quality of the last photo. I took tons of pictures (in different locations) and they all turned out dotty. Maybe the busyness of the fabric. I selected the best one, but uploading it to blogger, reduced the quality even more.

Make sure you take a peek at my Dear Jane block. This one is as cute as a button!

Until next week.....happy quilting!

Karen

Baby Ralphie is just so cute, - I love cats, use to have a lot of them now none as dear son in law is allergic badly. Now I just have to look at others if I want him to come to my house :)

Your Baby Ralphies are both adorable - the kitty and the quilt! You do lovely work and your colors are wonderful. Quilting is so much fun. Dear Jane is looking great, also. How many blocks do you have made and how many to go? I know there are a lot of them. Love the fabrics you picked out for that quilt, too.

Oh! Oh! I loooove this quilt! I love that its focus is off-centre, and yet that's not the only focal point.

Yeah. Way to go!!
