Fresh from the Oven

Fresh from the oven and the kitchen smells wonderful! Isn't this a cute little wall hanging? Spice of Life was a freebie, I received from my local quit shop, at the Christmas Open House. All fabric, buttons and beads, came with the pattern. I just needed to provide the batting and backing.

I was getting a little behind with my Noah's Ark BOM. Last week, I finished the November block, The Penguins and stitched the December block. Now I just have to add the log cabin. Then, I am caught up again.

I'm a Pat Sloan fan and recently she posted a freebie pattern inspired by her trip to China. China Delight will make the perfect carry along project. First, I need to select some wonderful Asian fabric, from my stash. Pat is also working on another free BOM. I so loved working on the Farmer's Market BOM. Pat and Emilie Richards have gotten together to design this one.

Until next week.....happy quilting!

Karen

Very cute, looking at this as Lemon Blossoms from Paula Deen are coming out of oven. The house smells divine! Not the same as your goodies, but pretty good.
nice blog....
